Frohe Weihnachten!
This December, the Maria Stein Retreat Center will transform into a traditional German Christmas Market. A Christkindlmarkt, which literally translates to “Christ Child Market”, welcomes the Advent season and is accompanied by music, warm food, and drinks to bring light and joy to the cold, dark season as we await the birth of our Savior. We aspire to make this a magical outdoor festival, serving as a destination for artisan vendors and Christmas shoppers alike. The two-day event will be held on
Friday, December 11, 4 pm–9 pm
Saturday, December 12, noon–9 pm
and will feature unique shopping ideas, traditional German food and drinks, a visit from Santa Claus and his Reindeer, Train rides for the kids, and a silent auction filled with many great items! Plan to attend on Saturday to enjoy a free Christmas concert by Nashville artists Caleb + Kelsey!

Artisan Crafts, Food and Drinks
More than 30 selected vendors will showcase unique products in custom-built, German-style Christmas booths, evoking the charm of a traditional European holiday market. Holiday music will fill the air, and the aroma of seasonal treats will waft from the booths, immersing visitors in a magical setting that captures the spirit of Christmas and encourages festive shopping. The Christmas tree and Nativity scene will serve as gathering points for photo opportunities and community celebration.
